What a wonderful series this is! Mary Calmes has created a fascinating world populated by unforgettable characters living through all kinds of dangerous adventures. Jason and Varic are the strongest couple ever and their amazing friends are equally powerful. Don’t miss reading or listening to this amazing series, packed full with action and romance.

Love hope, but above all else, unconditional love

Love the book very, very much. It's one of the best at the 3 I think it shows emotion i cried i loved every moment of it. It made me wanna, oh, it was so good. I'm glad that it finally had a good ending. I hope there's more about how our lives grow with their children in love, but it's gonna be so good

Unique storyline and interesting characters.

Lots of humor and great narration on books 1 and 2. I wasn't crazy about Sean Crisden's interpretation in book 3. The characters in this book seemed to have a bit of a shift emotionally. So much growling. At times there didn't seem like there was a clear delineation between characters' voices, and deeper voices seemed muffled. I loved whiny Tiago and his character seemed way off from the previous books.

Overall, though, I loved the story and the change in narrators wasn't enough to ruin it for me.

I loved this series. Loved the characters. I’m actually sad it’s over! I would like to read more after their happy ending!

Varic & Jason love for eternity

I loved the intricacies of the royals and nobles kept me listening carefully. Jason and Varic’s love for each other was beautiful and kept them strong. This story has much heartache and lots of action!

Great plot. Steamy hot sex

I really enjoy the world building, the interesting plot. And the hot steamy bits we natural and never let up in intensity.

corrupted audio, new narrator, great story!

ever since downloading this audiobook my audible has been crashing hard often especially when listening to this book. really seems like it's this audio. idk.

the new narrator makes different performance choices that affects the flow of the characters from book 1&2 into book 3, with that said, happy with both narrators once I got over the differences that made sequential listening jarring.

this is the best story line of the three but I could feel that way cuz we see more depth and growing bonds between characters that get introduced in books 1&2.

I bought this when it first was released but had heard it wasn't as good as book 1 and 2 so held off. Finally decided to try, and I have to agree. Book one and two where so much better.

Between the long drawn out monologing in the beginning, the character names that sound the same, which had be confused at times, the over all story which was ok, but not fantastic. Then the narration, all the main characters voices were so bad. Although I did enjoy Jason's voice, and funny enough, all the womens ones?

I thought the premise of the storyline entertaining and interesting.

Narration, I saw the post on why the original narrator was not chosen to do the story, unfortunately, for me, this narrator is not one of my favorites and the story itself fell flat.
