My father retired and ever since he complains so much about being bored lol. He does enjoy listening to books when he goes on his walks so I thought this was a really double good he can listen to something while walking and maybe get some ideas about what to do. I listened to it myself and it does have a lot of suggestions, some of which are easier than others, at least in my area. But It is worth it if you are about to retire or just retired and have the ability to find other things to do.
