Complex and entertaining

The author creates an entertaining tapestry of characters, plots, and subplots, which is enhanced by great narration. At first I had some trouble keeping track of and appreciating the many different characters and tangents to the main plot, possibly because I haven’t listened to any other books in this series. Once I could keep everything straight, I very much enjoyed the rich ecosystem of police work that the author presents.

Rob Marshall book 6

Ed James fulfills my need for mystery, humor and romance with an air of Scottish history it satisfies a longing to know more about where ancestors came from. I have to say I am going to relisten to this book. I do get confused with all the different characters, but that gives me a good reason to play it again. Angus King is the absolute best!
