Any thoughts on that? I'm currently taking suggestions.

Enjoyable

A very interesting look at mages and vampires… The story of Gunn and Kit is an example of true love… Lots of intrigue, mystery, love, romance, and books… Lots of books. Thoroughly enjoyable story!

Great Story

These two characters truly come off the page for me and I just want to hug them. While there were some inconsistencies like Kit giving Gun details and then in a later chapter doing it again... I was on swivel looking back to confirm that yes, that information had in fact already been imparted in an earlier chapter. All in all I loved the characters and hope there is another book to follow.

If these 2 were any sweeter….. enjoyable story , good world building, loving families, I can see many more stories from this line.

loves the story but...

I loved the story premise and world building. However the narrator just didn't did it for me. I had a really hard time with the mechanical nature of the 1 voice.

Love this author!

I love AJ Sherwood books! She’s probably currently my favorite author. Her books are always charming and funny with cleverly detailed world building and rich story telling. This particular book is fun because Sherwood honors Thai BL’s.

However, I got really frustrated by the narration. Gun’s narrator is wonderful and I would listen to him over and over again but Kit’s narrator is possibly AI. The weird pronunciations don’t sound human and constantly remove me from the story. I’ve tried googling Derek Prince but can’t find anything about him anywhere. I don’t like leaving a negative review but I also don’t like being duped by AI. I don’t want to support AI narration and will be more careful in the future.
