Rob and Riardin's Rangers have returned triumphant after assisting Dwarven territory and Merfolk territory. They endured the Blight, betrayals, and bombs, barely managing to prevail over the many trials that assailed them. An alliance has been brokered between nations, and for the first time, the Blight seems like it's on the ropes.

Unfortunately, there's never rest for the weary. It isn't long before they hear news of a brewing war between the Harpies and Dragonkin. Confused and concerned, the newly formed allied coalition heads down to find out what's going on—only to become embroiled in a dark conspiracy that threatens to shake Elatra to its core.

As corruption rises in Harpy territory, Rob finds himself surrounded by enemies on all sides. With two leaders, the Blight, and the gods all setting their sights on him, the stakes have never been higher. He has no choice but to fight onward, motivating himself with the knowledge that peace lies at the end of this long, bloody road.

If he can hold onto his sanity, that is.

Story Progression

The series keeps building well and keeping my interest! I can’t wait for the aligning of the storylines but till then, I’m curious what will happen next.

First couple of books I enjoyed more but still a great listen. can't wait for the two worlds to collide.

Each book pulls the storyline forward

This book is still heavily travel based, but more classic war this time. It’s interesting to see more of the harpy and dragon kin. The end of 4 left me screaming so it’s hard not to dive into this to see where that twist is going.

Everything evolves is ways that I, at least, can never anticipate. Keeps things fresh and engaging.

often I find that litrpg books get dull or lose momentum but this series just keeps getting better. Definitely worth the listen.

This book wields emotions like spells!

A great addition to this series, I eagerly await the rest of the saga! Watching Rob smash through social norms like a Bull makes the whole adventure more thrilling. The gods themselves arent spared the sarcasm. Excellent book; on to the next!!!
