Hawk

Savage Saints MC, Book 1

By: Cameron Hart

Narrated by: Wyeth Watts, Amy Hall

The new waitress at the Savage Saints clubhouse is a pretty little package wrapped up in mysteries and filled with secrets. I can't explain the urge to protect her, to reveal whatever she's hiding, whatever is making her so afraid.

Tessa doesn't trust easily, but I've always loved a challenge. I'll win her over one smile at a time, and then I'll find a way to keep her forever.

When the truth finally comes out, I have a decision to make. Trust Tessa and risk losing everything I've worked for, or leave the only woman I've ever cared about for the good of the club.

Time's running out, and so are my options. Should I trust my head or my heart?

Contains mature themes.

age gap with horrible narration

I'm so upset.I really was looking forward to this book. fifteen year age gap, but the narration is horrible. couldn't get past the first couple of paragraphs.

Enjoyed!

Too short but it was a good 🎧 The narrators brought the characters and story to life.

protective hero

If you’re in the mood for a fast, low-angst, over-the-top protective hero fix, this short motorcycle club romance is pure comfort food for your headphones.

What makes this a satisfying listen is that despite the rugged MC setting, Hawk isn't a toxic or degrading hero. He’s a total alpha protector who actually treats Tessa with sweetness, focusing on earning her trust and keeping her safe rather than playing mind games or pushing her boundaries.

At just over 3 hours long, it’s a super quick, bite-sized listen. Narrators Wyeth Watts and Amy Hall bring great energy to the dual narration - Watts nails that deep, growly enforcer tone, while Hall captures Tessa’s quiet vulnerability.

It’s fast-paced, steamy, and low-drama—the ultimate breezy palette cleanser to blast through in an afternoon.

Love it! 10 out of 10 RECOMMEND!

Sometimes I’m skeptical of short stories because they often seem rushed and are missing character background and or development, but this book checked all of the boxes. The story and spice were perfect and now I want to listen to the next book. I usually don’t spend credits on short books less than 6 hours, but I think I’ll make an exception for Rider & Sutton’s story.

My algorithm did me wrong

I can handle age gap but this had no substance. Automatically fell in love. Did nothing but be basic good person so it earned him taking her virginity. He helped her at het job and gave her groceries. And his instant dirty talk was so degrading. I trusted my recommendation and I could not even finish it
