I enjoyed the book, but I didn’t know it was part of a whole series

I don’t like to get stuck in the middle of something where I need to go back or try to figure out what happened

loved it, was entertaining and made me feel as i was there. worth the listen

Cozy and entertaining

Like all of this authors stories, this one is wonderful. An inclusive, relatable, cozy magical read. I'm often picky about narrators, but this one has a lovely voice, and appropriate accent. she tells the story wonderfully. Can't wait to read the next book in the myrtlewood mysteries

Bi-sexual romance

The narration was great. I just couldn’t get into the story as the young woman kept doubting her sexuality and interests.
I have read plenty of same sex romance and mystery books, but I was not prepared for it in this book as it was not disclosed, which it should be.

narrator is a gem

this was an excellent spin off of the series. The writing was just what I want from young-adult-esc stories. However, I was new to the narrator and was very happy to keep listening to her. If she read the dictionary, I would be enthralled.
