narrators were good!

This has become one of my favorite book genres as of lately, so I read and listen to manyyyy of them. I'm a dark romance of most genres conessiuer, if you will.

The premise of this book is great, and there was def some character development. It kept me pretty damn interested. I consecutavely listened to this book until nearing the last chapters. Then, I had to listen to a different one in between. It does have a hea, and the relationship developed well. the narrators were good too.

The spice was both sweet and spicy. Hearing "good girl " is the best , no matter the book👌

Good….

I was surprised to find this a dark mafia romance. It’s a sweet story that focuses more on the MFC and MMC! It was a sweet read with light drama and yes the heroine is extremely fragile in this book but it makes sense since she’s suffered from abuse.

Narration was great, the male character had a nice deep voice and the narrators brought the story to life.

I am not finished lol

The writing is really lacking there is to many moments like why do I need to know what you brought father whatever for lunch. like that is useless info and doesn't push anything.

So far the people narrating have good moments and bad moments. They are not the worst but definitely thete ade alot better books to wast a credit on.

wish this was a audible exclusive or something so I didn't have to wast my credit. 😑

Tori and Angelo

This was a really good book. Angelo and Tori were great together. Even though Angelo was a hardened, take no bullsh!t mafia boss, he softened for Tori. Her step-brother treated her horribly and Angelo did something terrible to him for all the times he beat Tori. Macie Miller and James Anderson Foster did a great job with the narration, although I think a younger sounding male narrator would have been better.

Cute

Not what I expected but the story line was great!! Kept moving and all characters involved throughout the story.
