its okay

nothing bad, BUT nothing awesome. the story was Meh. the female narrator wasn't uber likeable, a little shrill. if its on sale, I guess. But Penny Dee writes better Mafia stories.

Love it!

Wow I just really love this one! This is a really different take on the Cosa Nostra and sometimes you just need that! I like it when the FMC doesn’t know what they’re walking into and that’s what this one is about. This is really well done, the writing and the dialog are totally believable and you can almost feel like you’re there with them. The narrators are excellent and I just really recommend this book. Definitely looking forward to more in the series.

Franco and Samantha

A suspenseful, thrilling and dark romance. It takes a special kind of woman to bring a vicious mobster to his knees. I loved how protective Franco was with Samantha, not only physically but he helped her emotionally as well. Their chemistry was palpable but the deep connection they developed with simply beautiful. I enjoyed every single moment of this story.

This book was absolutely fantastic. I loved the pace. The characters and the growth our female lead had. She was so traumatized to start with and conquered her past with the help of our leading male!
