While Alphonse Sutton was serving two years in prison, an unfortunate event occurred that would change the trajectory of his and his kids' lives forever.

Alpha comes home prepared to change his life for the better and make sure his daughters know that they can forever lean on him. Coming home is bittersweet for Alpha because all he knows is fast money, and changing his life for the better comes with too many uncertainties. Alpha hates feeling like a charity case. He wants everything to fall in line for him and come easier than it is. Watching his best friend Dame blow money fast has Alpha almost tempted to dive back into the streets, but he knows he can't risk leaving his daughters again. Fresh out of prison, Alpha is only concerned with getting his life on track, but the beautiful Brooke Kelly comes along and offers him some relief and proves to be a pleasurable distraction.

Brooke Kelly is newly single and not in a rush to replace her ex. Brooke is tired of being cheated on and disrespected. When she meets Alpha and finds out he's newly released from prison, she knows it wouldn't be wise to take him serious, but Brooke falls fast. And she doesn't just fall for him but for his kids, too. Moving too fast, stressors of the world and fatherhood along with financial responsibility have Alpha rethinking some of his actions and wishing he could do things differently. Alpha is winging parenting, working, and trying to be a good boyfriend, and some days, he feels as if he can't win for losing. Take this ride with Alpha and Brooke to find out if he gets it right in the end.

Loved 🥰

As others have stated lil mama that was narrating must have learned to whisper in a helicopter. She was mad loud and excitable. Not bad enough to not enjoy the listen but consider yourself warned. The story was great. Loved the little girls and their relationship with their father and Brooke. Loved the redemption of both romantic life and just life in general for alpha. Would recommend it’s worth the read for sure.

2nd Chances

Lord, it took everything to get her back once he lost her..and he should NOT have lost her. He was definitely a dummy for that ..but the girls always pulled at my heart

Growing Up

I love that they took their time coming back together after their situation. I like them together and I loved her for the kids.
