Drug King Pins and Salon Cat Fights

Gigi Reeds is my new favorite narrator. I feel like I’m eavesdropping in the salon when she gets going. Winston James is Winston James. He gave the main character a Mase-like vocal rhythm that works well.

The novel is a quick captivating story. It reads like a Hip Hop Opera. An uncertain succession for a Drug King pin. A looming turf war. True love betrayed, true love found (?) feminine fist fights and masculine beat downs. Grab some popcorn and a towel because this book is both dramatic AND steamy.

Non Spoiler Alert: Cliffhanger ending! You’ll want to buy book 2 immediately!

Great story!! Even better narrators!! Gigi doesn’t disappoint!!

Great book, I just wish all 4 books was available, but overall first book is great, but it did get me when both of them end up pregnant at the end,
