Horrible accent

The narrator nearly ruined it for me. For the love of all that is holy, stop using Gone With the Wind as your research for a southern accent! Civil War era Georgian accent is nothing like south Alabama or anywhere else, for that matter.

another great ride.

I have enjoyed everything thing Larry and Jason have laid their hand to! you guys keep pumping them out and I'll keep buying!!! the only downside is now i have to wait for more. also anika, did an amazing job! gettit gurl!

story is great. the narrator not so much

the narrator does a really good job when doing female characters. her attempts at doing male characters and specially her attempts at doing male characters with a Southern accent are cringe-worthy. I couldn't listen to the book I had to read it. and I've listened to all the other monster hunter books

Great story, but...

Sorry to say it but the performance was unpleasant. Oliver Wyman is a hard act to follow. He could have handled this, even with a female lead, I'm sure. Still worth multiple listens, but not as good as Guardian or the others.

loved the pacing and action, The characters are realistic and fun. cant wait to read the next one.

Another great book

Loved this latest entry. The characters were well written and engaging and the action scenes were great.

A tight story, a few mispronunciations

So glad to have this story series back in my life! It's been five years since the last one. This story is just as tight as the others, tighter than some. Great storyline with a beginning, middle and end. Understandable characters, no unlikeable moments, a few mispronounced mythological creatures but that's alright. I think the next book will also be good.

very good story

Really loved this story but the narrator just wasn't right. she seemed completely unfamiliar with this world and her interpretations of folks and places we've all grown to love was just off. if there are more to these stories, I hope she spends some time listening to one or two of the other stories in this series to get a better understanding.
