story and narration are still strong

the story seems to be hitting its stride, not sure entirely where it's going yet but it's added interesting enough characters and concepts to the story to keep it interesting.

Soccer at its best

The Narrator is fantastic. He brings this story into full life. I kept chuckling throughout the entire story.
The story line is great, and the imagination Ted puts into his characters pulls you into it immediately.
I've listened to the first two books back-to-back and really got into the progression of Max. He seems to grow and learn about the world of Soccer and keep his morality. Even if he doesn't realize it.

This book was awesome.

"I have no idea where this story will go" that's my main thought when thinking about this series. How will a story about soccer completely grasp me?

This book absolutely accomplished that. Seeing Max's progression as a player was great. Combine that with getting some background info on his powers was also a nice touch and thankfully not just mentioned in passing. The relationships he continues to build is great for his character as well
