I'm soon left with a choice; continue my fun, chilled-out life at the store, or discover the true extent of my power, and the real reason they feared to enroll me.

Note: This slice-of-life story features an unconventional relationship with more than one woman, centered around the male main character. There are explicit adult scenes. All the women are wonderfully varied in looks, style, and personality.

Good stuff!

I'm usually not a huge Urban Fantasy fan, but, I may have to rethink my position. This book is quite easy to just relax into and let it take you for a ride. It's not until later in the book that you realize there's a sinister plot lurking in the deeps. I'm hooked and EAGERLY awaiting the next one! Very good narrator and the extracurricular activities are HOTTT!!!

Just give this one a shot. I just reread this one because book 3 just dropped and I needed refreshed before I started it. Good luck everyone! 😊

Fun!

Great characters and a fun world. If you have read/listened to any of Kirk’s work, you know your getting the good stuff. Great performance by Savannah as usual. Loved it!

Good start....

Great start to a story ...thought it started slow and thought it could of used more world Building and character development....maybe a male and female narrator.... narrator was a little too slow and kinda confused the characters with her voice ....but overall good book

if you enjoy magic, sexy women and harems, with a story you'll enjoy this book, also did I mention a sexy goth girl?
the main character discovers he has magic after being rejected from going to the academy and trains outside the bounds that are normal.

This book has a bit of everything. First, I have to say that the relationships feel very organic. There is some antagonism at the beginning, then grudging acceptance, then friendship and finally a real relationship. The journey was worth the ride and probably my favorite part of the audiobook.

I was a little hesitant with regard to a single narrator by Savannah Thomas did a great job. My biggest issue with a woman voicing a man's part is that it doesn't sound right. Not in this case. Everyone has their own voice that is different and distinct from all the others. Meeting the father was hilarious but the mother was embarrassing in such a genuine way and was an excellent scene in the book. This was a great way to spend 9.5 hours.

Good book i really enjoy the snarky attitude of Misty, made for some fun listen moments.

Overall solid first book for a new series. Good narration, plot, and character building. Worth the credit IMO.

Absolute choke on your coffee type of series!

If you liked the witty quip and banter of Tamryn Tamer then this series is right up your alley. 20 out of 5 in all categories. The characters, plot, and flow of the story are all top notch.

Performance was good. Character development was great. I laughed to myself multiple times. A great escape from my day.
