The Hostage

Bridge is hired by a man employed by the CIA to find and rescue three kidnapped aid workers. After a rough start to their mission, Bridge gets the feeling that there is more to the story than he’s been told.

Bridge and Nicole are given a couple of men local to the area to help facilitate the safe return of the aid workers. But can these men be trusted? Or are they loyal to the rebels that took the workers in the first place?

One thing’s for sure. Bridge and Nicole are outnumbered, betrayed, and lied to every step of the way. Can they bring the aid workers back in one piece? Or will some of them die trying?

I love this series. I love all Mike Ryan series. Hurry up and write some more. Take the couple to Japan, Iran or Thailand. Keep them traveling and exciting.

Narrator for this series is fabulous!!! The story for this is awesome. Love the relationship between Bridge and Nik is the best. Can’t wait until the rest are on audible.

Tired of her sex drive

I could do without Nicole wanting sex all the time. It has gotten old. If I wanted to read a romance novel I would.

I can’t believe they got me again.

I bought the first 3 set bundle of these books a couple years ago and couldn’t make it through the first one. I guess I forgot because the author has some really good books, so I bought these while they were on sale. They seem to be written by a sophomore in high school who is obsessed with sex. I couldn’t concentrate on the actual plot because of all the childish sexual back and forth…… it is constant and not at all funny. Anyway. Wasted another purchase because I only made it through about an hour before I realized my mistake. If you like middle school sexual innuendos and constant sexual barbs…. This is for you.
