Down and Dirty

Italian Stallions, Book 1

By: Mari Carr

Narrated by: Marina Barrett, Theo Sinclair, Oliver Highpoint

What happens when a down-on-her-luck single mom meets not one, but two sexy saviors? Roommates with twice the benefits.

Jess has one goal in life—protect her son. But when an overcrowded shelter puts her and Jasper out on the street in the dead of winter, she fears she's going to fail that mission. Help comes in the form of confirmed bachelors, Tony Moretti and Dr. Rhys Beaumont.

Tony and Rhys share the same motto—work hard, play harder. But when fate drops a homeless waitress and her young son on their doorstep, their wild and free lifestyle takes a sharp turn. Their desire to help her is only surpassed by their desire to claim her, share her, make her theirs.

When Tony and Rhys offer Jess a place to stay and security, there's no denying the chemistry between the three of them. All she has to do is let them in. But Jess isn’t willing to get hurt again . . . no matter how persuasive, how determined, how deliciously possessive her new roommates are.

Wow

I loved the story. I have never read this type of romance but I was honestly impressed.

Ménage Romance

Down and Dirty by Mari Carr is a menage romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Marina Barrett, Tim Sinclair, and Oliver Highpoint. This is the first book in the Italian Stallions series.

This is the first book of Mari's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Jess, Tony, and Rhys.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Hard and Fast to be released on audio so I can get Penny and Gage's story.

Marina, Tim, and Oliver did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like menage romances, single mom romances, or contemporary romance.

Down and Dirty

I really enjoyed this story. The friendship these 3 built before taking it to another level was so sweet and wonderful. It made the book feel less "down and dirty" and far more "natural progression". Don't get me wrong, the steamy scenes were super steamy! It's just that it wasn't girl meets boys let's hop in bed you hot studs. I really enjoyed this. Great writing, great side characters, excellent narration. Very good read, worth your time!

Steamy romance

I love the depth of the characters. The author created a world in which readers to desire to read more. I already purchased book 2 in the series!

intense

Good for Jess keep going from bad to worse. She and her son are evicted. There's no room in the shelters and they end up living in her car in freezing weather.
The next morning she is found by Tony and Rhys outside their apartment building. They convince her to stay with them.
Oh these two alphas develop feelings for this single mom and things get steamy.
Marina Barrett, Oliver Highpoint, Theo Sinclair narration brought this sexy story to life!
