Temporary Partner

Valor and Doyle, Book 1

De: Nicky James

Narrado por: Nick J. Russo

Can two rivals work together to solve a case?

When an infant is taken from his carriage in broad daylight, missing persons detective Quaid Valor must race against the clock to find the child and bring him safely home to his family. Unfortunately, Quaid’s partner isn’t available, and his team is spread thin. Begrudgingly, Quaid must accept the help from his rival, homicide detective Aslan Doyle, if he wants to get the job done.

Aslan is Quaid’s opposite in every way. He’s bold, outspoken, arrogant, and the office playboy. And much to Quaid’s chagrin, Aslan seems to have set his sights on Quaid as his next conquest.

Quaid doesn’t have time to deal with Aslan’s flirty behavior when he’s trying to solve a case and juggle his cheating ex’s incessant interruptions.

It doesn’t matter how attractive Aslan is or the undeniable chemistry they seem to have. Getting involved with Aslan would be a huge mistake.

But as tension with the case builds, Quaid keeps forgetting he’s supposed to hate this new partner. Maybe Aslan is exactly the kind of distraction he needs.

Temporarily, at least.

Right?

Temporary Partner is the first in the Valor and Doyle Mysteries.

Really great storyline

This book really kept my interest. The vibe between Quaid and Aslan was electric, and when they finally got together they were pretty explosive. I loved the narration and cannot wait to listen to the next book.

Outstanding!

Nick J. Russo does an outstanding job of brining Temporary Partner to life.
Temporary Partner is the first book in the new Valor and Doyle Mysteries and I am already a huge fan!
Aslan and Quaid are a terrific detective duo that are the perfect opposites attract and grumpy/sunshine dynamic. The chemistry between these two is on fire.

Along side their growing attraction/feelings for each other they must solve a case of a missing baby.
The mystery and intrigue will have you turning page after page.
The banter and snark and sizzling heat will leave you wanting more.
I am hooked and can't wait for the next book!

More Than Temporary

Good start to a.new series. I'm enjoying the characters in this mystery series. The mystery itself was well-crafted and kept my attention. Watching Aslan and Quaid interact was really enjoyable and I'm excited to see how these characters will evolve. The narrator does an excellent job with giving each character their own distinctive voice, including the french-canadian accents. This author/narrator combination is one of my favorites and I'm looking forward to more!

WOW!

I been putting off this for ages, but OMG WOW! it’s amazing.
Great plot lots of tension and sparks.
Did not see the solution to the cases.
