The truth is, I’m not much of a wizard, because there’s not much magic in the world for me to work with. But there used to be magic. And magic is coming back as our world converges with the Nether.

I thought it was great

Some people didn’t like it, I thought it was great. I like CAs style of storytelling and RCB hits it out of the park.

So many clueless reviews, this book is great

So many people talking about how inappropriate it is to think a 17 year old is attractive, like really? 76 countries around the world have 16 as age of consent. Not that it matters, as they don't have any physical relations, so not sure why ao many are freaking out. The dog bit is great at first but does start to get annoying, other than that it's giving me my fix after I finished exforce.

Unique and entertaining

I was so glad I stumbled across this book. I'm a big fan of Bray and look for books read by him. I was delighted with the book, the unique characters (esp. the dog) and, for me, the unique storyline. This is my first Alanson book so I have nothing to compare it to in listening history, I love the humor in the book - I found myself laughing out loud at certain points. I'm really looking forward to the continuation of this series.

Waiting for the next book!

I’m seriously waiting for the next book. I’ve noticed some people say it’s not as good as expeditionary force. But I disagree with that assessment.

Let’s see how the story unfolds.

This book was fantastic! I think it may be my favorite book this year maybe even my all time favorite! I can't say enough about how awesome it is. I highly recommend it! Well done!
