Rick Scroogeman hates Christmas. He can’t stand the carols and the pageants. He can’t stand the lights and the mistletoe. But what he hates the most is having to watch the old movie A Christmas Carol every year at school. Since his name is Scroogeman, all of his classmates start calling him Scrooge. And he hates being called Scrooge.

But everything starts to change when three ghosts visit him. At first, he thinks it’s a dream. But then he realizes that it might be a nightmare. A nightmare that could become real.

I Was Sad When It Ended

When I saw this title I had my reservations, fearing this was going to be Ebenezer Scrooge as a kid learning about the meaning of Christmas.

Luckily, it's none of that. However, it is mentioned that people notice the similarity in his surname to Scrooge. A Christmas Carol is also mentioned in the book's universe.

Thr Ghost of Past, Present, and future all play similar roles with twists that make them feel unique.

This was a great story to listen to in December and the ending made me chuckle.

I loved this book so much! What a great read. Once you start, you won't be able to stop -- you have to find out what happens to Rick!

I throughly enjoy the twisted on this Christmas classic, it was fun cute and it taught the lesson of being kind to others

An interesting take on an old classic

Fun story, the author does a good job on the retelling of an old tale. For those of you who enjoyed the original, this is a real treat.

The Narrator is Awesome!

I really enjoyed this story a lot! The narrator is such a great audible actor! I would love to hear more stories with him in it! It made driving back and forth to work & home so much easier & stay alert!
