Great Listen, Loved Every Story!

There are so many other short horror story podcasts or audio books that are more confusing than scary or leave you feeling dirty for listening to them. This is not the case for Scream and Scream Again! Thank you to all of the writers and the great narrators for putting together this great collection! Please make another!

Nothing too memorable here

So I was looking for something to start introducing my 8-year old great niece to the horror genre, I think this book is more for the 10-12 year olds. Other than that, this book wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that great either. After the 20 stories I barely remember any of them and none of them left an impression on me.

The stories are varied across topics, and you never knew where the next story was going to lead. There are a lot of stories about kids who have just moved, and I now know why those kids have anxiety. You get a bunch of stories that don’t end too well for the new kid, and I don’t think that is the best way to go with stories.

I like the multiple narrators but would have liked something of larger production value. I grew up on “Alfred Hitchcock Presents Ghost Stories for Young People” record that I wore out playing over and over and I think that is what I was expecting from this book, and this wasn’t it.
