Hmm idk

I hate to give anything by JVM less than a 5 star, but I just didn't get this story. Annihilation was confusing the first time i read it, but the 2nd time I loved it.

Foreboding psychological thriller (short story)

A woman inherits her father's house in a remote town and faces off with a creepy neighbor. The narrator was perfect in expressing the rising sense of being trapped in a home that used to be a refuge.

really enjoyed

The story is well written and had me ready to buy the book. The ending is great, leaving the reader with a lot of choices.

Gripping story

I’ve not read anything by Vandermeer that I didn’t love. This being no exception. I really enjoyed this story and loved the emotion portrayed by the narrator!
