A strange vine is uncovered beneath the remains of a lost civilization. Before anyone can examine the alien plant, pink pollen erupts from its huge buds. Moments later, 99 percent of the archeological team freeze like statues, but only for a minute. They brutally attack anyone unaffected by the phenomenon, dragging victims away for what becomes a chilling evolutionary process beyond anyone’s worst nightmare. the start is a little rough, but it's worth it

good story...
though it is a little basic i was still entertained...
there isn't much room for character growth, but the characters are easily relatable...

Honestly I picked this up because of the narration and Steve did a great job as always

Good One!

This was an easy listen. The story was easy to follow and quite intriguing. It's pretty fast paced too.

Steve Campbell did well with the narration. He is the main reason for picking up this book.

Not so great

Theory is interesting but the actions of some of these characters is unbelievable. And the aliens are not up to par. It ended with the hint of a second book, but unless I have nothing else to listen to, not for me.
