Prince Roderick and Justina . . .

Prince Roderick is a Var, a cat shifter, who enjoys being out in the woods. When he wakes up from his sleep, he scents blood and goes to investigate in his cougar form. He finds Justina, a Cysgodian, trying to get Fiora, a draig princess, out of Shelter City to save her. Roderick helps her with Fiora, but he is informed that his friend, Jaxx, is injured and still back in Shelter City needing help. Will Roderick get his friend out of the stricken city? Will he find out what happens to Justina who has returned to Shelter City and placed herself in danger in the hands of the corrupt Federation?

The world building is really good. The characters are believable and many are very likable. Having read and listened to these books for years, I already have my favorites! These stories will definitely make a place in your reading library for years to come! The narrator for the audiobook version is Michael Ferraiuolo. He does a great job with the voices to personalize the story and make it easy for the listener to get an accurate impression of what each character is like. It helps to set the mood, familiarize us with the characters, and is a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the book.

Nice story

Good character development and storyline as well. I like the male and female lead characters, both have a noble backbone. Plenty of action and hotness to keep my wayward attention. The narrator did a nice job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fantastic series

I think this is a fantastic series. They can be read as stand-alones but I definitely recommend reading them all. I enjoyed listening to the narrator on the audio book.

As usual, Michael Ferraiuolo's narration provides a captivating listening experience. Even in scenes with multiple characters speaking, his changes in voice and speech patterns are flawlessly done—no overacting, just a natural and immersive listening experience.

Michelle M. Pillow's character development and world-building are exceptional throughout this series, and this book is no exception. One of the things I enjoy most about Qurilixen (the world in which the story takes place) is the diversity of characters and species. It offers seemingly endless opportunities for additional stories, and each new story adds to readers' understanding of Qurilixen (the planet, social structures, politics, the different species trying to coexist, etc.).

Feral Prince is a pivotal book in the Qurilixen Lords series. It's beautifully written, and the conflicts that drive the story are both believable and necessary to the development of this and future books in the series. I listened to Book 4 before this audiobook, and while I understood that story, this book certainly adds depth to my appreciation for the next book in the series.

I recommend this book and the entire Qurilixen Lords series to those who enjoy paranormal romance.

The next generation of Qurilixen royals is as good as the first

The meet cute between Roderic and Justina is priceless. Instant attraction be damned these two have responsibilities that come first, after that the action is non stop. I always feel transported when reading the Qurilixen stories and even though each tale stands alone I love reading the sub series's in order. Shelter City and the plight of the Cysgodians has weighed on the Draig and Var’s conscious, their honor and integrity remind me of knights of old. Will Roderic lose his mate before he even has her or will Justina be just the catalyst needed to end the Cysgodian’s suffering. Great read set in a “world” I love to visit. The narrator is wonderful but I would have liked an actual female to go along with him.

Feral Prince

Michelle M. Pillow's characters and world-building are exceptional. One of the things I enjoy most about Qurilixen is the diversity of the species that inhabit this planet and that each story builds upon one another to make it a rich and satisfying series. Great story with plenty of drama, adventure, culture differences, political, fated mates, and romance, it's got a little bit for everyone to enjoy. The narrator Michael Ferraiuolo does a phenomenal job with voicing each character's unique personalities, especially when voicing multiple characters in a scene, very talented!

Roderic and Justina

The third book in the Qurilixen Lords series a well written story with a very good storyline that flowed smoothly across the pages. Prince Roderic and Justina's story of suspense, evil, drama, twists, turns, danger, a really nasty head villain, and romance. I would recommend. I enjoyed listening to Michael Ferraiuolo narrate the story.

Loved It

Great book, kept my attention all the way to the end, amazing audio delivery, loved it. Will be reading again, every chapter was received amazingly do recommend you give it a read.

Roderic and Justina

Prince Roderic likes hanging around the forest in his cat form. He sees a woman with his best friend Jax’s wife Fiona. The woman tries to scare him away from the hurt and unconscious Fiona. He changes into his human form to find out what is going on. Where is Jax? Why is Fiona hurt? Justina is from Shelter City. Shifter are not allowed in Shelter City. The Cysgodians are not to leave Shelter City.
Justina is Cysgodian. They were brought to this planet after a virus destroyed their home planet. But the Federation placed them in an area and ruled them with an iron fist. They had minimal shelter, food and medicines. They had drones that did daily patrols and counts. Any resistance was futile. Justine helped two visitors to the city. They should not have been in the city. She helped Fiona escape to the outside. Her friend was going to help hide the injured Jax. Justina makes a scene to distraction the drone count. She is captured. Roderic is ready to help her.
Good story with plenty of drama, adventure, culture differences, military control and manipulation, chemistry, resistance, mates, and a love story.
