one of the important books i've listened to, ever. a great reminder about the importance of instinct, and a clear differentiation between worry and fear.

Could save your life.

Wow! What powerful knowledge. It brings into light the intuition that I have been made to feel was frivolous, is actually a great tool. Now I have strong reasons to go with those feelings in all my situations, learning there is powerful meaning to them. As a mother caring for a preteen I feel I am able to better prepare her for the world and validate her own feelings and intuitions. I have not been able to stop recommending this book since I started reading it. I also have received a lot of benefit from the second book Protecting The Gift.

Must read book for all responsible adults

I first read this book in the early 2000s My original copy is dog eared and has been shared with dozens of coworkers and friends. As a police officer for the last 25 years I find this book to be incredibly insightful and educational and I continue to encourage friends, family, and citizens to read and learn from it and to enjoy it.
