Wonderful, really kept me invested
The book is dual perspectives which I wasn’t sure how I felt about at first, but very soon I was getting excited and hype when I would hear who each chapter was about. A wonderful blends of story that come together like butter and toast. The elements of character that are brought in through the dragons really surprised me (in a good way). All in all the story does seem like your average fantasy but the twists and pulls on your heart strings will keep you ready to read more. Truly love this book, give it a shot.

Love this book!
I just binged this book! My heart absolutly broke near the end, so I hope it gets figured out in book 2! Funny thing is, I normally don't read books, but happened across this beauty via Tiktok of all places! The book itself is awesome, and the nerration done was fantastic as well! I loved how, even though it was only one person reading, I could hear each of the characters as themselves. Thank you so much, both Lola Ford, for writing this, and Jake Ruddle for narrating! I can't wait for the second book, Shatterscale!

Where’s the second book?!
Only thing I don’t like is that the second book isn’t out yet!! I need shatterscale in my life pronto!!! It was such a well written story, and as a dragon lover, I absolutely love how she portrayed everything. At the end of the story - not going to lie I cried a bit. However I must know what happens next!
