  • Outsmart AI Right Now
    Sep 11 2026
Daily Boost Podcast Outsmart AI Right Now September 11, 2026 | Episode 5540 Host: Scott Smith Episode Description Twenty years ago, Tim Ferriss told us to leverage our brains and let automation do the grunt work. I bought in, built a business on it, and it worked. Then AI showed up with the same promise. Robots do the hard stuff; you get to be creative. Three years in, AI is writing the music and making the films. Guess what's left for you. Today I'm giving you a take on AI you haven't heard, straight from a coaching call with my client Ralph. It's dark, a little funny, and it ends with the one thing AI can't touch. Featured Story Picture your head as a coconut. AI walked up with a drill, bored a little hole in the top, and you didn't feel a thing. Coconuts don't feel anything. Then it slid in a long straw and sucked your brains out. For some of you, it was a sip. For the college crowd, it was a lot. It poured all of it into its own brain. And then came the twist. You can have it back for twenty bucks a month. Forever. You said, " Great, I get my brain back plus everybody else's. Ten million PhDs. Except there are eight billion not-so-smart people in there too, and now you can't tell which one is talking. That's where it gets interesting. Important Points * Every knowledge job is getting cheaper. Consultants and coaches who sell pure information are getting squeezed first. * AI will flatter you while it lies to you. Pull your own brain back out and double-check everything before you decide. * AI can't make the decision. Wisdom, judgment, and face-to-face guidance are your leverage now. Memorable Quotes * There are 10 million PhDs inside AI; there's no doubt about that, but there are 8 billion stupid people in there too. * AI lies to you. It gives you compliments while it lies to you. It tells you what to think. It's a very good liar. * The only thing you have that's more valuable than AI is the ability to make a decision and to use your wisdom. Scott's Three-Step Approach * Admit that trading pure information for money is over. Consulting and coaching on knowledge alone won't hold up. * Move what you know into a decision. Take the flood of AI answers and turn it into the call somebody can't make alone. * Deliver that judgment face to face. A little human conversation on top of all that leverage is the new arbitrage. • Everything Is Possible
    Sep 10 2026
Daily Boost Podcast Everything Is Possible September 10, 2026 | Episode 5539 Host: Scott Smith Episode Description Have you ever had one of those days where you're trying everything and nothing moves? You push, you plan, you show up, and the door still won't open. I've had plenty of them. Today I'm sharing a story about a man I met near the end of his life, a small pin he put on my shirt, and six words he said that I've carried for over 20 years. Those six words changed what I believed was possible. They built everything I have now, one day at a time. Listen. You might need them today. Featured Story The cameras were set. The crew was ready. Grandmaster Lee was late. He'd had a rough night; the cancer was winning, and he'd spent part of it in the hospital. Then the door opened, and he strode in as if nothing had happened and Sat down. Ready. He talked for two hours, and when he was done, he was done. Then something crossed his face. He got up, climbed over cables and light stands to a desk in the back, dug through a drawer, and came back with a little American flag pin that said Instructor. He pinned it to my shirt. I told him I wasn't an instructor. He smiled. Important Points * You're not behind because you're incapable of it; you're behind because you simply haven't started the thing yet. * Every library, business, or body of work you admire got built the same slow, boring way, one single day at a time. * Impossible today and impossible forever are two very different things, and only one of them is ever actually true. Memorable Quotes * Today, not possible. Tomorrow possible. I'll let you add a little Korean accent if you want to hear it. * When I began, only in my heart, like yours, you're just doing it. I'm counting on you to help people your own way. * My entire life, my entire legacy, everything would boil down to 5,500 podcasts, and I ain't anywhere near done yet. Scott's Three-Step Approach * Name the one thing you keep saying you'll start someday, and admit that today's version of it feels impossible. * Do the smallest piece of it today anyway, one call, one page, one recording, and then stop and walk away for now. * Come back and do the same small thing tomorrow, because tomorrow is where impossible quietly turns into possible. Chapters 0:15 - When the day refuses to go the way you planned 1:30 - Why I'm opening the Face Your Passion community 3:00 - Flying to Little Rock to film a legend's last story 4:49 - Ten thousand people and a curtain that opens 6:17 - He crossed a room full of cables to find a pin 7:50 - The mountain you see when you haven't started 8:11 - Six words that built the next twenty years Connect With Me Search for the Daily Boost on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify * Email: support@motivationtomove.com * Main Website: https://motivationtomove.com * YouTube: https://youtube.com/dailyboostpodcast * Instagram: https://instagram.com/heyscottsmith * Facebook Page: https://facebook.com/motivationtomove * Facebook Group: https://dailyboostpodcast.com/facebook Learn more about your ad choices. • Design Your Perfect Day
    Sep 9 2026
Daily Boost Podcast Design Your Perfect Day September 9, 2026 | Episode 5538 Host: Scott Smith Episode Description I haven't taught this one in many moons, but it's been central to my coaching for close to seventeen years. It's called your average perfect day, and the first time clients do it, it freaks them out. Then everything changes. Not because it's magic. Because writing down how you actually want to live wakes your brain up to what you want. I'm going to dare you to try it. Most of you won't, and that's fine. But the ones who do end up looking around five years later at a life that matches the page. Featured Story My wife and I don't need a car. The one we have is fine. But I've been working on her about a Tesla, and now she wants one, and we're sitting right there on the edge of pulling the trigger. Then I noticed something. Everywhere I go now, all I see are Teslas. Parking lots, the highway, the grocery store. They were always there. My brain didn't bother telling me about them until the thing mattered to me. That's the reticular activation system doing its job, and it's the same machinery that goes to work the minute you write down the day you actually want. Important Points * Write your average perfect day from wake-up to dreams, and don't allow one limitation or consequence on the page. * Your calendar tells the truth about what really matters to you, not the beliefs you say out loud when somebody asks. * You'll get it wrong on the first pass, and that is the point. Come back a week later and make it a little more real. Memorable Quotes * I know it is stupid, but you write it down anyway. There are no limitations, and there are no consequences. * I don't care what you tell me you believe in or what you tell me you want to do. What matters is what you actually do. * Your day can't be perfect every day, so on average, write down what you want and it will probably happen. Scott's Three-Step Approach * Grab a sheet of paper tonight and double-space the whole thing, because you will be adding lines to it for years. * Write out every single event of the day you want in order, from the second you wake up through the dreams you have. * Read it again a week later, correct whatever feels off, and then let your brain go hunting for the rest of it. Chapters 0:38 - A core philosophy I have not taught in years 1:18 - Naming the new community Face Your Passion 2:34 - Founders pricing and the doors on September 17 3:24 - The average perfect day concept, start to finish 4:43 - My wife, a Tesla, and seeing them everywhere 5:31 - Why average beats perfect every single day 8:03 - The drawer, five years later, half of it true Connect With Me Search for the Daily Boost on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify * Email: support@motivationtomove.com * Main Website: https://motivationtomove.com * YouTube: https://youtube.com/dailyboostpodcast * Instagram: https://instagram.com/heyscottsmith * Facebook Page: https://facebook.com/motivationtomove * Facebook Group: https://dailyboostpodcast.com/facebook Learn more about your ad choices.
