This vampire messed with the wrong girl.

I used to call myself a witch, shifter, and vampire slayer. Now I'm none of those things.

I thought I was doing the right thing by killing Valkas, the original vampire and eye of the storm. But I played right into Matias Vayne's hands. His magic is back, but he's taken the rest of ours in his plot to gain power and "purify" the world.

Innocent lives are on the line. I'll do anything to save them and restore our magic, but first I must face the most powerful man alive without any power of my own. It's an impossible mission, but I have to go through with it—or die trying.

New narration updated April, 2023.

Retribute (Vengeance and Vampires Book 4) ~~ This finale delivers exactly what it needed to. All the fear, loss, tension, and determination from the previous books finally comes to a head, and the payoff is worth every minute. The characters you’ve been rooting for stand their ground — not because they’re fearless, but because they’re done running and done losing.

Retribute feels bigger, darker, and more emotional. Every character gets moments that matter. You see their strengths, their wounds, and their final push to end this nightmare for good. The action scenes are sharp and brutal, and the emotional scenes hit even harder because you know how much they’ve already survived.

There’s closure, it’s honest, earned, and true to the tone of the series. Some moments made me proud of the characters, some made me hold my breath, and a few hit right in the gut. And that last section? That’s the kind of ending that sticks with you.

It’s a finale that respects the journey and gives you exactly the sense of justice you’ve been waiting for.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself — you won’t regret it.
