It's All in the (Cue) Cards

Lisa Coleman and Josiah Ryder are cute and so easy to love! This was my second read of this book. I loved revisiting them, and it was all the sweeter because I've read the rest of the books that came before it - Rocky Mountain House (Six Pack Ranch and Thompson & Sons combined) and The Stones of Heart Falls series.

One subplot that had a bigger impact now that I've read the Rocky Mountain House series is George Coleman and how he really turned things around. I loved seeing that! Of course, reading my original review shows that prior reading wasn't necessary.

I read along with the audio book. Tatiana Sokolov does a great job even if I'd like a male counterpart on occasion.

Giddy Up!

I enjoyed listening to this story. I just love that small town romance vibe. I got a little lost when Heart Falls references were made but since i listened to Rocky Mountain i figured it out. Not totally a bad thing though because now i wanna go back and listen to Heart Falls so winning.. can’t wait for book 2 👍🏽

Great plot.

This was an interesting and enjoyable book.
It has the right amount of fun and than it has
just the right amount of drama that rounds of
the hole story just nicely.
Like usual the narrator has done a brilliant job
of bringing the characters and book alive.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this audiobook.

Life Can Surprise You

Lisa is in Heart Falls to help her sister who is having a tough pregnancy, she didn’t expect to fall for sweet and sexy local Vet, Josiah, but he is so irresistible and makes her question her future in the best way in this sweet tale. Good performance.

Not the best by this author

I love Vivian Arend’s books, but I didn’t really care for this story. Most characters in her books come alive on the pages but not this one. Still an OK read, but not outstanding!
