Excellent Story

The post-apocalyptise served up just the way I like it. Realistic situations without scifi beasts. This was really a pleasure to listen to. The narrator did an excellent job. so many post-apocalyptise books are over run with fifedomes and boring military ramblings. Not this book. This is a feasible tale of a couple families in a post apocalyptic emt world. well done.

interesting and quite realistic

Well written if somewhat predictable to those who have considered societal collapse. Some prepper biases and predujeses creap in, but then real people have the views they have by reason of their personal experience. All in all a good read, never boring.

Good series

We enjoyed these books. I really liked the fact that it was less gory than most apocalyptic series. I think you’ll like it. We did.

Clean, but Boring

I appreciated the lack of cursing, sex, etc. and on that note, this would be a safe listen for tweens. However, this was so boring. Every single main character had the same personality, the same thoughts, etc. There was no character development at all, and somehow I listened to a dozen hours and still had no connection to any of the characters.

How short the books are

Could have combined all 5 into 2 books and continued the series. Seemed too short.
