Very Helpful and Complete Book

One of the best introduction to the Portuguese language. A very intuitive yet systematic approach to learning

I understand what the author is trying to do -encourage the user use intuition and the provided vocab to understand the Portuguese. Still, many times i wished for an English translation.

Extremely thorough delivery of Portuguese language

This book is more teaching than practice. The reader has trouble with some english words.

Great Guide

To start a course in Portuguese. The book is very interesting. I highly recommend this book.

Far too many typos and mistakes

It's incredible how many typos and mistakes there are in this, otherwise, it would be pretty effective. Just one example of many: in the first story, Roberto says to his teacher, Mrs Nevesh, "obrigada" instead of "obrigado." Both the speaker and the PDF have this error. As a beginner that greatly confused me as I can't find any examples of males using "obrigada" in that way, even when addressing women. Is that a way of formal speech? If so, it was never explained.
