Enjoyed the books! Write book 4!

I was entertained throughout the series. However! I would really like you to land the damn plane with Riot and Ketrick. C'mon! As a female reader I want to see this come to fruition. All that work and no play is not the ending I want. Give me book four and a little happy time with Riot and Ketrick please.

I also enjoyed listening to the end notes.

Friends and Allies Fighting to Live Free

Great tale. Has a strong female lead. Humans need allies. Space is their last hope.

Kick-ass characters. Enjoyed the verbal for play with main characters. Lots of good action!

These aren't your typical space Marines.

Most amazing audiobook to date. These two authors really work very well together to bring you the best science fantasy story that I have ever heard. The narrator is also very expressive and obviously enjoys her job.
The story itself is extremely riveting. Who wouldn't want to hear a story about space dragons combating alien elves? One of the best things about this story is that the authors paint the scenes in only the broadest possible strokes. This allows your imagination to immerse you in the story without getting hung up on the minutiae that slows you down. Fast paced space battles and a brisk storyline doesn't prevent fleshing out characters fully though.
I've never met a female heroine that I've liked as much as Master Sergeant Riot. There aren't enough female heroines in the space fantasy genre or pretty much any fictional genre but if they could all be so awesome and compelling as this one the literature world would be better.
The most amazing thing about the story though is that each of the main characters no matter how crazy or badass overcome the obstacles in a manner that the reader can both relate to and simultaneously look up to. These are characters that I hope our children can grow up to become. They stand up to Intergalactic bullies. Create friends with the most unlikely of people. Ignoring social and economic differences to come together for the common good of the universe.
