I really would have wanted more. I still do. This is the only reason why this book does not get 5 stars. But I still liked it.

Short and Sweet

Fairy Promise picks up right where the Fairy King leaves off. Cawdern, (I figure that's not spelled right but that's the hazard of audio books,) is challenged to a duel by the unseelie king.

The story is very much an exploration of exactly what it means to keep a promise. Whether one's word should be just as binding as the law. The answer is that for a Fairy it is.

I enjoyed seeing Cawdern struggle through an awkward meeting with Hannah's parents. it was the highlight of the story for me.

if you like Fae romances this one is a clean, sweet and thoughtful read.

Narrator, Corinne Short bings the characters to life with her melodic voice that feels right out of Fairie.

Fairies may like but they keep their word.

Again a great rendition of a fabulous story. The narrator was clear and concise and seamlessly changed tone and quality of voice to add the characters. Highly recommended.

the conclusion between the 2 main characters story was unknowing, sad, heart warming and perfectly told. I wish it wouldn't and but I thoroughly enjoyed this story as it unfolded.

A happy ending to a love story

This was a sweet follow up to A Fairy King. A lot of attention to facial expessions, licking lips, and a dry mouth, but depth is added to their relationship and the Fairy World of law and order.
I think my pet peeve was the soliloquys ... I can imagine this being a romance but it really really felt out of touch with any tangible reality. I can't relate at all with the over-the-too sugarness and gushiness. I'm almost thinking Caderyn is similar to what we would consider a "door mat" in our world ....

"As you Wish" comes with new meaning
