Good Series

This is a great series. It's full of action, great characters and witty dialogue. It's well written and the world building is fantastic and well written. I really enjoyed reading this series and plan on reading many more from this author.

I love this series and recommend this book and series to anyone looking for a good alien story to read.

Hell Squad, Volume 5 doen't disappiont

Love this series! With each book, the story becomes more complex and involved, building the back story of the invasion a bit at a time. Hell Squad makes more of a guest appearance here and the story revolves around Roth, head of squad 9 (LOVE the idea of an all female squad with a couple of token men) and Avery, a new character, briefly mentioned in a previous book.
Written with Ms. Hackett's wonderful style and talent, ROTH is a definite hit and must read in this genre. Great narration by Jeffrey Kafer & Samantha Cook who bring the action and the characters to life

Fascinating

Avery and Roth initially had a frenemies vibe with one another due to her inability to remember vital information. However, things change when she has a minor fall that causes memories to resurface and brings Roth’s protective instincts to the surface!! They’re mutual respect, determination to defeat the enemy, and defense of those less fortunate cement an unshakable bond between them! Their relationship has plenty of sexual chemistry, humorous dialogue and adventurous activities that make their story fascinating to listen to 🎧. The narrators were wonderful too! Can’t wait to listen to more of the series!!

great series, I love these characters

I love this series- full of action, strong women and a fantastic romance. These books have a specific formula- men and women who are fighting against the aliens who wiped away most of the earth, find love in this tragic situation. Roth and Avery have to go through, erm, hell, to achieve their HEA and it's a great ride. I also listened to the audiobook through audible escape and it's great- same narrators as the prior books and they do a great job bringing the story bringing it to life.

Another winner

Series is still building on similar theme with some differences. Enjoying all of the action and the love and sex is great; not too over the top. There thoughts out loud are funny; nothing like a cocky Alpha male (no pun intended) with a spicy female. Narrators continue to do a great job with characters. On to the next book. This should be a TV series.

The Narrators have really stepped into their groove for the Hell Squad Series. This was the first time that they absolutely nailed the performance for Book #5 with Roth and Avery. Great narration, great Characters, great Writing. Another Anna Hackett Success.

Great story!

Other fascinating story! This author definitely has me wanting more. The stories are full of romance, suspense, adventure and action.

The narrator’s do a fabulous job with the characters and voices of each. I think I have found two more narrator’s to add to my list of favorite. The narrator’s bring the characters to life.

sparks from the beginning

When Roth first sees Avery, she leaves a memorable impression. Even while he is suspicious, he can't keep away from her. She, on the other hand, wants nothing more than to help where she can - only her memory is spotty and she is desperate to recall that missing time.

Great continuation of the series, love the characters, and the story is gripping and engrossing.

Cute Story

I liked this one - it was a bit like the others, didn't stand out that much but wasn't bad either. Just another couple in the series. Love that some of the backstory is uncovered though. You find out what happened, who betrayed humanity and opened the possibility for some different story lines in the future.

Still holding strong in the alien invasion. We meet new people in this book and new alien monstrosities, can’t wait for the next book. Loving the world building. Wish the books were a bit longer. I get these with my Kindle unlimited then purchase the audio using the Whispersync sales. Recommend reading them in order, as it follows a timeline. Narrators are great.
