Football...in space!

Scott Sigler has written an amazing genre mash-up. Football in space. The narration is incredible. The Rookie is the first on the fantastic GFL series.

Awesome!

I love the story and the performance. I'm not much of a sci-fi guy but this is awesome. I'm definitely reading the entire series.


....back to add to this. I just finished the All Pro, third book in the series, and I love the entire story. The performance is amazing but the book is even better. I haven't finished the series but I'm sure I'm going to be disappointed that there aren't 1000 books in the series. This would make a great HBO long running series. I say that because a movie would miss the details. I find myself connecting with the characters and identifying with the circumstances. This book is good for everyone, but if you're background is that you are from nothing and that you have fought tooth and nail to get where you are, then you will love Quinton Barnes.

I doubt he reads this, but Scott you have done an amazing job. I really appreciate your effort and what is my favorite book series of all time. Thank you.

Great Production

Good story with in depth football knowledge. The production on this went far beyond the standard reading you typically get with an audio book which can be distracting but I thought made this book a great listening experience. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

really enjoyable

I always forget how much I despise the main character at the beginning of this series, but what really makes this series so enjoyable, is watching Quentin grow and change! There's actual character growth and development that's what I really love about Scott Sigler books and this Series in particular.

I was not a football fan until now

I could not stop. it was so interesting. can't wait to get the rest of his books.
