This is a wonderful book. I love the quaint language, the virtue and goodness of the March family and the feeling that the world is well even in adversity. The four little women are all so innocent, sweet and kind. Their parents are so loving and dedicated to bringing up the girls as young ladies with good values. Parts are funny and parts sad, but it is a most wonderful story.

I first read this book when I was a young girl - a pre teen. I read it over and over as I grew up. Then I abandoned it when life got in the way. It was a pleasure to pick it up again in audible format. I am now 70 years old and I enjoyed it as much as I did when I was just a little girl. Wonderful story. Wonderful values - well written and beautifully narrated. This was such a pleasure for me. Thank you Audible, and Barbara Caruso - and God bless Louisa May Alcott's soul.

I hated for it to end! This is a sweet story to repeatedly listen to every few years. If only the world now would focus on "being good."

Love!

"Little Women" by Louisa Alcott has been my favorite since the age of 8, so the performance of this beloved classic is supremely important to me. Barbara Caruso's performance is delightful, and I couln't ask for more. She brought each character to life beautifully. *Brava Brava*

Overall I really enjoyed this book. It took me a few chapters to get into it, I think mostly because I didnt relate to how young the girls were at the time, but as they grew up, I started to love the story line more and more. I didn't care for the ending between Jo and Mr. Bhaer, it felt like a forced ending as opposed to the way the story developed the characters personalities. But overall I'm glad I read it, it was enjoyable.

Enjoyable Overall
