Not only is Zoe going to find herself in the middle of madness - but she's going to have to try and pass finals while she endeavors to solve the mystery of what a monster really is.

Note: These books are full of sarcasm and are a little bit snarky - so listen only if you like to laugh and like your paranormal with a little bit of fun. This is the first book in the Covenant College young adult series.

Interesting series but Narrator Sucked!

Any additional comments?

I like the idea and setting for this interesting new series even though it took a while to get to the point. I wasn't sure where the plot was heading until way past the halfway mark. But still it was a good start. I would have liked this book a lot more except for the whiny, nasally voices the narrator had for all the characters. I winced so many times throughout this book that it was almost impossible to finish. What should have sounded snarky came across as whiny. She made the heroine sound spoiled and bratty rather than strong willed. I'll continue the series but switch to the e-book instead.

This was a fun book to read. It was difficult for me to listen to the angry screaming voices, but the book itself was good.

i think it was a good story overall, but i like how Zoe not just your everyday girl that falls in love quickly.

nice pace, annoying sometimes for Zoe voice's, but overall nice

Buffy snark

Entertaining, snarky dialogue reminiscent of Buffy delivered by a great voice artist! The story meanders a lot, not much to hold your interest other than the witty delivery.

Snarky good book

I liked this book. I didn’t know about the main character at first but she grew on me and I love her snarky attitude, and all her movie/ tv show comments. I excited to see what happens in the second book.
