Loved it, all content, no fluff! The chapters are organized thoughtfully! Lots of actionable information! Loved the lifestyle and freedom reminder.

just the facts. this book is full of practical tips and techniques to write and use a book to build authority. the author uses stories well to demonstrate how the tips and techniques he's suggesting are used in the real world.

Nathan delivers with Authority

I've really enjoyed reading Nathan's blog and I'm also a user of his ConvertKit platform. I've known about his books for a year, but finally got around to reading Authority. I loved it. Much of what is in this book I feel as though I've heard Nathan say before or have seen him practice (such as the free course segments). However, it was really great to hear all of it again in Authority. There were also a lot of really great things in this book I hadn't heard before, such as the detail in which Nathan describes the different platforms in which you can format and write your ebook.

All this to say, would definitely recommend this book. A great read for anyone looking to self publish successfully.

Useful - some good gems inside!

Short listen, with good advice on email marketing, launching products online and how to work efficiently.

A few speech "typos" that slipped through editing though! Instances where the author rereads a sentence from the beginning. Not what I'm used to hearing, here at Audible.

Apart from that, the narration is very friendly, warm and was in fact partially a reason I bought the book:) I could hear from the sample that the narration was so good that I wanted to try to emulate it, in my own work (I sometimes practice my voice by mimicking others).

A methodology for creative enterprisers

This book is on point in terms of how I see jobs in the modern economy. There will be fewer and fewer jobs and more people will build businesses like Nathan Barry discusses in this book. He's software specific so it's a little boring for some, but this methodology should be seen as a pathway to be used by anyone seeking to build their own thing. From oil drillers to actors, this book has something for you.
