Armed 'n' ready to begin living again?

I'm a real fan of K9 stories and this has quite a bit of the dogs involved in the story of two people who have been seriously damaged by former loves and are not ready to try again. Ready or not being forced together to solve a serious crime makes it difficult to ignore their attraction. Is she being used by the real criminal -- is she guilty or a victim and if so is she in danger?

The love story is mixed with the crime story and wonderful characters. I thoroughly enjoyed and will have to read more of this series.

OK Story. Lousy Narration.

I love K9 stories, especially when they come in a series. Add in some good suspense and romance and I’m a happy camper. This is the second book in the series, and while I do enjoy the overall premise, I could do with a little less obsessive romance and a little more meat to the story. And, I’m sorry to say, the narration leaves a lot to be desired. Same for the first book. Her cadence doesn’t flow very well, there are a lot of mispronunciations and other mistakes, though I suppose those could be attributed to editing erros rather than narration errors. Either way, they should have been caught before final production. I’ll keep reading the series, because like I said, I enjoy the basic premise. But I have to read at least a book or two from another author in between, or I’ll get sick of listening to the mediocre narration and the overly sexualized plot. Normally if I’m reading a series I truly enjoy, I’ll plow through the whole thing with abandon and then be annoyed because I have to wait for the next book in the series to be released. This series is a little above meh for me, but not by a lot.

I’m hooked!!!

I absolutely love this book!!! It was just enough suspense mixed with romance. This book had my emotions in a chokehold lol. From laughing, to crying, to nervousness this book had me all over the place. I will definitely be completing this series and every other series this author has. 10 out of 10 recommend

I was so sad this book ended. That's how much I was engrossed. And can we talk about it made me cry?? Such a great book and a keeper!

The characters were great. I didn't expect the ending but I loved how the mystery was revealed. And the sweet ending for the couple. LOVED!

Very entertaining story and narration

This book has a great story with enjoyable characters, enjoyable K-9s, and very good suspense and action scenes. The characters make you want to hear more and the suspense keeps you glued to the story. The narration is very good. It has a happy ending which is necessary for my enjoyment of any book.

Great read!

I really enjoyed Nick and Andi’s story. Andi was great and I loved watching her and Nick get closer as they worked on this case. She was a suspect but the more Nick was around the less and less he really thought she was involved. The story had some twists and turns in trying to out the pieces together and who was actually behind all of it and how Andi had been put in the middle. I enjoyed the way that things developed and flowed. It kept me engaged and entertained. Excited to see the next one.
The narrator did a good job with the story and the characters adding that extra dynamic.

Armed 'N' Ready is the second book in the Federal K-9 series by Tee O'Fallon. Andi was in the shower giving her dog a bath when law enforcement broke in to serve a search warrant to her ex boyfriend for illegal gun dealing. Andi is now a suspect and her accounts have been frozen, her ex boyfriend even used one of her accounts to run money through. Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Nick Houston got an eye full when he saw Andi in the shower in an almost there bikini. Andi is the key to getting her ex to talk to the police so the answer is for Nick to work in her Cafe so he can watch Andi to see if she gets any calls from her ex. The more time Nick spends with Andi the harder he falls but she is still a suspect and he can't go there. Once she is cleared of being a suspect who knows what will happened, Nick is determined to keep his eyes on her and keep her safe even if it costs him his life. WOW, I loved this book. This story is original with wonderful characters. It was a roller coaster ride from start to finish. The relationship between Andi, Nick and the K9's Saxon and Stray is heart warming. This is a must read.

I enjoyed listening to Vanessa Daniels performance. The story was, Imo, predictable. But still good. That's the reason for 4 stars. Worth a credit. Enjoy 😊!

Excellent story

Excellent writing and story lines. Action any romance. I like the dogs relationships with the characters of the story. I will recommend this book to anyone. Thank You.
