Publisher's summary

This summer will change everything!

Aria Summers knows what she wants.

A life on the road with best friend Rosie and her beloved camper-van-cum-book-shop, and definitely, definitely, no romance.

But when Aria finds herself falling – after one too many glasses of wine, from a karaoke stage – into the arms of Jonathan, a part of her comes back to life for the first time in years.

Since her beloved husband died Aria has sworn off love, unless it’s the kind you can find in the pages of a book. One love of her life is quite enough.

And so Aria tries to forget Jonathan and sets off for a summer to remember in France. But could this trip change Aria’s life forever…?

A heartwarming, uplifting and hilarious novel of friendship, love and adventure! Perfect for fans of Debbie Johnson and Holly Martin.

Tearjerker

I couldn't put it down. I loved it. I enjoyed the voice reading it. Overall a good experience for my first audible book.

Cute Story with fun character's

It's a cute, light hearted story that feeds my hopeless romantic side. Perfect for a chill day relaxing at home.

Very disappointing

I enjoyed the first book so much I immediately ordered this one and omg , what a disappointment .couldn’t finish it . There is absolutely nothing happening in it . Also , the narrator -why does she sound like she can’t decide to fall asleep or start crying . Made already boring story completely intolerable. Male voices all sound like they are 100 years old . Especially supposedly huge Max sounds like I have just met him in a nursing home . So disappointing

Just lovely

A lovely book and a great sequel! Very underrated! It's a great portrayal of grief and love, and Aria and Rosie and just wonderful characters.

Bored

Did not hold my attention. Wasn't getting anywhere. The characters didn't endear me. I was bored. Sorry, I tried.

Cute but a little boring

If you’re looking for cute and predictable, this will do the trick! I enjoyed these characters in the first book, but they flattened in this one. The story is sweet but entirely uneventful. Nothing unexpected, which is good if you want the lowest stress read possible.

The narrator almost ruins it. The men all sound elderly with a history of smoking. The women sound like they’ve aged decades instead of just months since the first book. It’s hard to reconcile the mental picture from the voice with the people who are supposed to be “having the young people sex.”
