Meh

This book was so disturbing, probably because this is someone’s life. The abuse and brainwash was horrible. The narrators voice for Sarah was so bad. This could have been a better story

Heartbreaking

This book had me hooked. Very upsetting and made my heart hurt for the victims. Ending was crazy.

Just good not super good not super fantastic but just good no twists no turns no surprises. Just a pretty good story. One of the narrators voice was sort of annoying and kind of overacted but not unbearable.

The narrators ruin it for me. The story was okay, but was very predictable. Not as good as some other books

Twists and turns

While the story line was great with lots of twists and turns, I was not a fan of the one narrator that read Sarah’s story. It sounded like a robot. One that you hear on your phone. That made it distracting to me. Otherwise, very good book!

LB is the master!

This may be my new favorite. Very dark and twisted without being overly graphic. This is every parent and daughter's nightmare. Makes me wonder if this booked was inspired by a case when LB was a therapist.

AI performance?

One of the performers sounds AI generated. It’s difficult to listen to. I not sure I’ll be able to finish this.

Great book but a tough read at times

No spoilers, but some sensitive content in this book. Really good overall, but could use some trigger warnings.

Left me bored

This book came recommended but I was less than impressed. Although definitely triggering it wasn't as exciting or twisty as I expected it to be. Pretty predictable and won't be recommending it.
