I love strong mcs that aren't stupid. this is a good book and having a strong mc is a breath of fresh air. seems like every book i get nowadays has a weak bleeding heart mcs that are always getting their asses kicked. not here

Great start to a series, I read it in a single sit

Apocalypse Greg: (Light Novel Vol 1, 2, 3) (I Was Just Trying to Avoid People, But Now I'm the Strongest Zombie Slayer) , my eighteenth read from prolific author Wolfe Locke who writes under so many nom-de-plumes that I'm not sure that 18 is correct. A captivating, page-turning (14-hour 23-minute/790-page, well-written read. “I received a complementary copy of this book and now I'm voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I always look forward to the next work from him. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Great books!

This was a great series to listen to and truly looking forward to the next book because this series keeps grabbing my attention to what will this man do next. This all series is like the movies zombie land and deadpool put into one and it’s hell of fun and entertaining to listen too. It’s most definitely worth the credit and or money!

Great flow

This is one of the best listens I have listen to in a long time. I laughed so hard and listened for 3 days straight because I enjoyed it so much. Can't wait for the next book

Not bad but sometimes confusing

Great and engaging story! Kept my interest the entire time. I will admit that I was a little confused at the start. I do appreciate the characters and world. It was a little confusing at some points because there's really no rhyme or reason regarding skills, leveling up and such. It just seems so random. The main character doesn’t pay much attention to details and always ignored what we the readers know is important and that is so frustrating at times lol, but that is the story and character I guess. I definitely want to dive into the next set. This was my first encounter with A Zombie apocalypse lit rpg. Loved it!

The only issue with the narrator is it seems he has an accent because everyone so often words are pronounced oddly. Throws you off a bit but you recover.

Humor, snark, and zombie slaying perfection!

Christopher Harbour absolutely nails the narration in Apocalypse Greg, Vol 1-3 by Wolfe Locke and Andrew O'Kelley. Humor, snark, and zombie slaying perfection. Greg’s joyfully antisocial descent into post-apocalyptic bliss had me laughing out loud, especially when he celebrates finally achieving the “ultimate work from home experience.” If you’ve ever wanted the world to burn just so you can avoid Karen from HR, this audiobook is your new therapy.

Zombies and Coffee, Can Life Get Any Better?

I was very entertained by this box set. Each story flowed into the next one. All three books were almost non-stop action as the story moved from one zombie killing rampage to the next as the story progressed to an exciting ending. As these stories were LitRPG, I appreciated the stats messages which kept popping up throughout the series of books. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I was amazed at the versatility of Christopher Harbour's narrative skills, and his performance enhanced my enjoyment of the story. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Good 👍🏻 goofy whimsical fun thrill mystery intrigue nothing too serious nothing too not serious. Good laugh.

Suspicious 5 Star "gifted the book" reviews

At the time I purchased this title it had a 4.9 rating due to a bunch of glowing 5 star reviews and a single 4 star all claiming to have been gifted a free copy of the book but that it did not affect their rating...
This was not a BAD book, however it was tragically lacking in details, and it explicitly skips fight scenes because describing will take too long.
as a zombie light novel it fits the mold, but in terms of Chewy LitRPG it needs work.
The progression needs better explanation and the skills are far too intentionally gifted.
