Jack pops out another great start to a series.

Porter, McKenzie and Hastings do a marvelous job.

The Earth is apparently a dungeon and has acquired enough chi to advance to the next level and absorbs 99.999% of all life from its surface.
So less than 300,000 people remain and need to grow stronger as fast as they can to stay alive as the Earth advances from level to level.
The humans that remain are changed to more resemble their personalities. Becoming snake people, minotaurs, twisted Lovecraftian monsters as well as elves, unicorn girls and lovely impish girls.

Humphrey, the MC's dog is a supporting character that makes this book a level above your regular books in this genre.

This is a wonderful LitRPG harem book with a light crunch to help the reader follow along with our main characters' advancing.

If you like harem LitRPG you are going to like this book.

This was a great story!!

Wonderful story, believable and relatable MC and cast, along with an excellent narration team!! So very good, can’t wait for the next!!

amazing series I am patiently waiting for the next in the series just wish you could hurry up

enjoyed it

first I would like to say I enjoyed the book, it's a apocalyptic litrpg book series however if you do not like sex scenes you probably shouldn't read this, however the story is interesting, there is stats screens, monsters, and magic if you enjoy litrpg with some fantasy you will love this book.

The 1st 2 chapters had me LMAO!

Humphrey is my hero! His shenanigans in the first 2 chapters were comically inspirational. The Harbinger is a perfectly annoying, condescending A-hole. I couldn't have asked for a better start to a book. I'm just getting into the meatier parts and will update this review later. This has to be one of the best book beginnings ever! McKenzie and Hastings get 2 thumbs up for their performance so far.

Update: I finished the book and loved it. I enjoyed the way the relationships developed. Not every relationship starts with insta-lust/love. Sometimes it takes a bit for things to settle in or for people to stop fighting their feelings, their past and their issues. Also, the fact that the mc gets his but handed to him even though he's had training is more realistic that usual.

Really worth the credit.

good system litrpg book definitely worth a listen love the story progression and narrator .

why did I wait so long

very cool take on the apocalypse/cultivation genre. I really enjoyed listening to it. the stats aren't too overbearing and the mc is likable. both the narrators were great. I especially loved the male mcs Canadian pronunciation of certain words. on to book 2 and 3 is around the corner!.

A Solid Entry

This was a strong first book. System apoc with humans changing into half monsters and a chi foundation. Definitely going to have more than one interest but it's a nice crunchy litrpg read as well.

Dial narration was on point as always. I'll be picking up the next one for sure.

Couldn’t finish this one

Performance was top notch, but I found the story too predictable and somewhat cartoonish. MC is dense, AI overly snarky, cringey escape artist villain, etc. The mc’s dog is hands down best part of the book. Pure gold there.

Absolutely amazing

Jack porter has always been a good writer. Great story mixed with even greater characters. The dog’s need to hump things was odd but still made some points interesting. All in all I loved the duel narration and hope jack porter does it for more of his books
