Everything was good except for the kah-NAYps

This is another great book in a humorous series. The characters are engaging. Conversations are dynamic. The atmosphere is well described, and I can sink in and build the mental movie.

The narrator is great, too. The character voices are distinct. And the female voices sound plausible! Even some of my favorite male narrators struggle with female voices, so it's always nice to encounter the ones that can make me forget it's a man voicing a woman.

The only thing that threw me was during the short story at the end, when canapés was pronounced kah-NAYps. Now, maybe this is intentional. It could be that it's supposed to be that way because of small town, Midwest dialect quirks. But this is one of those times where the audio version might be unable to convey what text intended.

More hilarious misadventures from DemonMart Crew

Just when I thought these stories couldn't get any funnier, D.M. Guay turned it up a notch in the third installment of the 24/7 Demon Mart Series. If you haven't started listening (or reading these yet) recommend you start with the first book to avoid brain freeze.
One of my personal gripes about a good story, is that I have to wait between installments, but what makes it truly worth the wait is when I actually want to listen(re-read) all the other books in a series prior, to make sure the story was minty fresh going into the new one, such was the case with Angel Trouble

absolutely love this narrator

the story is fun, but it's the narration that makes me literally burst out into laughter at the most inopportune times with this series (you could argue that I shouldn't be listening to books when I'm working clinical hours, but when the majority of my time is spent on boring paperwork I need something to help me feel human). It's perfect.

Laugh Out Loud

Love this series!! It's laugh out loud and all around fun. The narrator does such a fantastic job!!

Humor is a serious business

I would never have believed that such ridiculous happenings would have me cackling. At one point I actually had to pull over to the side of the road. The whole thing was so funny. And Todd Haberkorn is a definitely the best working narrator.

I would really 1,000 of these books I swear. everything from the story to the Performance the twists and comedy and everything about ALL of these books. going to copy this to every volume so everyone sees this series is SO WORTH IT, FANTASTIC!!

Fun but

fun but the constant crying, and whining of the characters gets old really fast. concept is funny.

I have a new favorite book series! These are all hilarious, well written, and just absolutely the perfect balance of horror and comedy.

Another hit out of the park

This is the third of the 24/7 Demon Mart books I’ve been through and I can’t recommend the series enough. It’s fantastic! The stories are funny and well-paced and the narration is excellent. I hope many more of these come out so that I can continue to enjoy the adventures of the 24/7 Demon Mart crew.

More Demon Mart!

D. M. Guay cannot write these stories fast enough for me. I love the Demon Mart crew — please keep their stories coming!

Laugh out Loud book

Absolutely love these books by D M Guay the narrator is excellent at the different voices and really makes the story come to life. I've never laughed out loud so much listening to a book before, this is the third in the series and the two before are just as hilarious. Already downloaded book number 4 and I'm hoping there's a number 5 in progress they are so much fun. Can't wait to get started on the next and hopefully not the last.

Another fantastic reading/performance in the series. Mr Haberkorn certainly makes the different voices work. Aside from a random ‘beep’ partway through chapter 11 a great entry to the 24/7 Demon Mart shelves. Long may the portal remain open
