Publisher's summary

How far is far enough? Andorra needs to get away from her ex, but is Saturn taking it a step too far?

When Andorra’s life turns upside down, she decides on a career change. Running a diner on a mining station orbiting Saturn. It seemed like a good idea at the time....

With her best friend Cy in tow, Andorra reckons it’s the best thing for them both. A chance to start again where nobody knows them.

Trouble is, there’s a secret hidden in the café. Before they have a chance to get settled, there’s a queue of dubious characters trying to find it.

While learning to bake and get used to life in space, Andorra has a murderer to catch!

Before they strike again…

Lots of Fun!

Narration is a bit slow for my liking, but that's an easy fix. Works really well at 1.25x.

The story is light and cozy and loads of fun! Looking forward to Book 2! Highly recommend!

What a fun listen

The best thing about this listen is that there will be more. This was a great start to a new series.

I loved that the story took place on a mining station in outer space. I loved that it was a murder mystery that was not an easy solve. I loved the wonderful mix of characters. I loved the ending.

Coltman's narration was pretty awesome too!!

Andorra Pett and the Oort Cloud Café Like Agatha

Andorra and her friend, Cy, have taken themselves to the furthest of space to get away from the heartache they left on earth. When she gets there she rents an old cafe. Seems no one knows where the former owner is, he just up and vanished one day. Then his body is found in the freezer and word spreads..and with it the rumor of his owning a book where he recorded everything that could be used against people and corporations. From day 1, Andorra's new place of business is a target for unknown people to invade looking for that book. So she decides to investigate if only to save her new fledgling business. At every turn she runs into blocks and possibilities. Will she and Cy even be safe if they find it?
Gill Coltman is a charming Andorra and brings her to live along with the motley crew of characters.
The audio is mesmerizing from page one and turns a murder mystery into something unique as the reader is taken deep into space to solve this one.
Fantastic audio and story!!

interesting listen

This was an interesting listen. The narration was excellent. The reveal of the killer was a shocker and a bit sad.

Fun, quirky little space mystery

Cute book. Love the characters. A single woman decides a new start is in order after she discovers her boyfriend is cheating. She was a clothing designer, so why not go to Saturn and open up a cafe? Oh, and who's responsible for the body of the prior restaurant owner being in the freezer?? Entertaining mystery. Safe and clean enough for the whole family to listen to on a roadtrip. Fast-paced enough to keep you engaged. I'll seek out more books by this author.
I havent read the Agatha Raisin in Space books, but maybe I'll give them a listen after seeing comparisons in reviews.
Lovely narration. The only trouble I had was the narrator doesn't have different voices for different characters and I had a hard time knowing which female was talking. It wouldn't put me off from listening to another story narrated by Gill. I imagine with time, she'll develop this quality.
I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review.

Agatha Raisin only friendlier :)

I very much enjoyed this book. It definitely is like Agatha Raisin in space. The characters took a little while to warm up to, very similar to the Agatha raisin series, but once that happened I was very invested in what happened to them. The narrator took a little getting used to, it is very British and lacking strong emotion but set the story nicely. I didn’t guess the ending until very late in the book, and even then I still wanted to find out how it would be resolved. If you enjoy British cozy mysteries like Agatha Raisin definitely give this one a try! I received this audiobook for free in exchange for an unbiased review
