Malcolm Greymoore, alpha of the local werewolf pack, has issues of his own to deal with and shouldn’t be worrying about the Hellsing Family’s weakness now that they’re down two members. Unfortunately for him there’s a rogue pack in his territory and they’ve just kidnapped and bitten the first born son of the Hellsing Family.

This was good…

I really liked it, and I eagerly await the next one’s eventual release!
This one took the story and an interesting and relatively unexpected direction. I had a feeling here and there that this thing might happen but I was like no that wouldn’t make sense, but then the thing did happen and it did make sense. I hope that made even a little bit of sense, but it means that I don’t know where the next book will go, and I really want to find out. Usually, I can figure out where a plot is going to go, but I honestly don’t know this time and that’s great.
I will say that the romance this time around seemed a little less… interesting? I don’t know, it’s just kind of a feeling. I think it mostly comes from both Connor and Malcolm being leader-types who have been under so much pressure for way too long that they’re just kind of relieved to meet each other. Obviously, that isn’t a bad way to go, it just happens faster than in the previous two. Regardless, they’re a good match.
Declan Winters did a great job yet again.
Overall, I really want to know what happens next, and I highly recommend this series.

There are more TWs in this one which are listed in the preview so keep that in mind. I will say that I tend to be very tender hearted, but I thought everything was handled pretty well on the author’s part and I was able to get through the book with minimal distress. And obviously, I was very happy with the book overall.

LOVE the actual story; Writing could use help

I love the story if these siblings and their world so much so I keep on listening as each book presents itself. However, I wish the author wouldn’t rush through so much! There are no details about anything to help you picture the scenes. Barely any descriptions of entire scenes in this book. All the romances are so rushed too! Each MC just goes, “Oh, ok, you’re my soulmate. That’s cool.” Geeez. And Connor and Kain both turned into other species: “Eh, ok then. Guess I’m a vampire/werewolf now.” Just so simple. And so many repetitive words throughout. Even within the same sentence at times. Sighhh… But, alas, the storyline: still loving it.

Very Good Fated-Mates Series Continues

Another very good low-angst m/m fated-mates story in this entertaining series. This is Conor’s story; his drive to protect those he cares for leads him to become what his family needs most. It also prompts a group of frightened teen shifters to turn to him for protection. Conor finds love as his family – both blood and chosen – increases in unexpected ways.
