adorable love story

I can't wait until the other books are out. The story is very sweet and heart warming. It is an mmpreg which is one of my favorites

So freakin cute

I adore this author and their many mpreg books. It’s so awesome to be able to listen to them as well, can’t wait to listen to the rest of this wonderful series I have read like 3 times😅.

Poor Character Development

I love MM shifter romances, but I could barely finish this book. The concept was cute. Unfortunately, the characters were so flat that I struggled to suspend my disbelief enough to enjoy the story. For instance, the fox was not a believable threat, even considering his character arc. Nor was the head hare. Sage's level of innocence would have been believable in a ten year old. It was completely unrealistic for a 21 year old. That disconnect ruined the "happy-go-lucky comic relief" trope the author was going for. Without the support of good character development, the story read like a random series of empty tropes strung together. I like tropes if they're used effectively, but that certainly wasn't the case here. I'm frustrated that other readers rated this story so highly. I wouldn't have purchased the book if I'd known. The narrator did a great job trying to bring the story to life, considering what he had to work with.
