I loved it! great story that sucked me in. neat to learn about the steps taken to prepare. Encourages me to take steps now.

Predictable but good

This book was good, but it was predictable. SHTF, good people rally bad people try to take from them. This book focuses on a small town the comes together to survive a solar flare. There are a rew twists but most of the book is the same plot as a thousand others. But the book makes sense and is well written. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a review.

Very good story

I received this audio book for free in exchange for my honest review. This is an excellent story. Both the writing and narration are extremely well done. You definitely won't be disappointed with this one.

Don’t call her a prepped

Great story! Unfortunately, it may serve as some level of foreshadowing for our own lives if society can’t get the focus off “me” and start worrying about “us.” Truly hope there is more to this story in the future. Narration was top notch as usual. Highly recommend this to all.

Another 5 star secret story

This is a story full of imagination, mystery and action .
Heroine is Allison

Grab this great listen and imagine the future. Are you prepared for any emergency.
Allison preparation is perfect she knows what to do and she’s keeping that secret from her husband. Two other men are thrown together with Alison the Sun is destroyed and the earth is turned topsy turkey. Thank god Allison is prepared.

Scott Bennett voice was great. He did all the parts perfect Scott has a clear , strong smooth voice

Pretty good listen

I enjoyed listening to this book. It did take me a little bit to get into it though so I would rate the story a 3.5. Once I did get into it I was totally invested in the lives of the characters. It is an interesting look in to what might happen something like that happened. The problems they had to figure out were real and believable. I liked the narrator. He was good at giving everyone a voice. I am sure others would enjoy listening to this book as well.

not my usual kind of book

It was better than I thought it was going to be. the book was well written and as usual the voice acting was spot on. the only thing that kinda bothered me was the jabs toward Democrats, but the main character addresses it. I am like Alison, I vote for the person not the party.

This could happen and it’s scary as hell!

A Post-apocalyptic tale and the first book in the series. The author of this story has a wonderful imagination and hit really close to home. I definitely would recommend this story. I absolutely loved listening to this book.
The narrator does a fabulous job with the telling of the story. I definitely enjoyed listening to this narrator.

Allison the prepper

3.5 stars, rounded up to 4. This is a prepper book. If you've read one, you've read them all, basically. Allison's a prepper but she's highly offended when she's called a prepper. Why?....I have no idea. It's a GOOD thing. She's not a very likable character, to me. She's got to be tough in this world, I understand that, but she's just not likable as a character. If she's was to be killed off, I'd be ok with it and I don't think that's a good thing to think of the main character of a book. lol There's a lot of prepping in this book, even down to the little details of step by step canning. It was a good book, if you like prepping. I like everyone else's story lines, except Allison. They are what made me like the book so much and why I will continue onto book 2.
The narrator was superb! I've heard him before and he always does a fantastic job.
