Publisher's Summary

Peyton Gloss is the world's most famous and popular singer and songwriter, known for her chart-topping hits as well as her famous girl squad and July 4th events, inviting all of her famous friends to celebrate. This year, she did something even more extravagant than ever and invited her friends to join her for a week-long adult summer camp experience.

Mackenzie Smyth dared to audition for a TV show. Thinking she had no chance of getting the part, she went along with it. Five years later, she's one of the most popular young actresses in Hollywood. She's also socially awkward and struggles with getting to know new people and spending time with her peers.

Lennox Owen is Hollywood royalty and has been famous since birth. She's remained in the business because she didn't know what else, if anything, she could do, and because it was what was expected of her.

When Lennox and Kenzie meet, there's electricity between them. And the camp is the perfect opportunity for them to explore what might be. But after the magic of their week away from the world dissipates, can they still find that spark and make their relationship work?

Contains mature themes.

Great story

...but overlaid with redundancy and repetition. Shorter would have increased enjoyment. More is not necessarily better.

Great Love Story

This was a great light, refreshing, super sweet love story. I initially chose this book because I love Melissa Moran as a narrator (which she did an AMAZING job again with this book) but now I have a found a new author who I can’t wait to read more books from.

A "Classic Lesbian Romance"

Finally - a decent lesbian romance without the coming out angst! Coming out was handled "just-right" for 2019, and the relationship itself was the focus. What a breath of fresh air!!
The story is engaging, it flows, and it's a perfect indulgence for a relaxing read or listen. I'm officially a fan of Nicole Pyland's work.
I felt Kenzie's life experience called for stronger voice acting amidst her insecurities. Insecurity is complex in relationships between women, which calls for a complex voice. Melissa Moran is a phenomenal voice actor regardless, I will listen again, and she's in my list of voice actors when I'm looking for a good audiobook.

loved it!

I loved it! it was sweet patient and kind. The love between the two characters was raw and it felt very real even though they were involved in show biz as a career choice. They just grew together perfectly!

This book is awful.

I’m sorry. Spoilers ahead. But trust me. If you’re a well read person in the les romance category stay away.

This book has way too many good reviews all over the internet. I feel it is my duty to be real.

This story is super juvenile. I’m not judging the dorky celebrity/Taylor swift/fanfic angle either. However, if I was a writer for The 100 show, I’d be annoyed this book kind of stole the idea straight up. Just saying. This is straight instalove. The MCs say I love you after 4 days. If that’s not enough... The girl who is mildly autistic is kind of creepy. Codependent. Needy. Not enough for me to believe the biggest star in Hollywood goes gay for her. Sorry. I mean come on. She watches her sleep, like stays up for hours watching her. She also looks at her phone when she’s sleeping. Biggest lesbian stereotype/pet peeve. The sex scenes are ruined because they talk about how the “autistic” chic comes too fast. Like really? I get that may be a symptom of her condition but I’m supposed to believe (and enjoy reading about) a girl can get off from no touching, nothing? And instantly? This book is rough. I’m struggling to finish it but I may actually give up.
Melissa Moran isn’t bad. She talks too fast but not bad.

Save your money. This story is so unbelievable it’s impossible to get into.
