Cali Banks lost her job and needs money fast.

When her best friend tries to sign Cali up to appear on a reality show where contestants complete ridiculous challenges for cash and prizes, Cali tells her she's crazy. When she gets a call back for an audition, she thinks there's no chance the show will be interested in her boring life. Little does she know; that's just what they're looking for. When Cali agrees to go, she's thinking about keeping her head down and trying to win as much cash as possible.

Dayton Maine is a reality show mainstay.

She's already done three and has been asked back for a fourth by the Berserk producers. Dayton understands she's there to bring the drama. She has no problem doing that. She also has no problem hooking up with her fellow female contestants should the opportunity arise. She loves the challenges and the thrill of the chase. She's there for the fun and the fame.

When the two meet, it isn't exactly love or lust at first sight. While the cast members get kicked off one by one, though, the two women find common ground mixed in with a whole lot of differences.

How does a “player” win? They decide to play for keeps!

This book jumps straight onto the highway of love and swerves into the fast lane! I needed a little Prologue that succinctly introduced all of these characters and a little of their history. It’s all revealed in the time but it’s just a lot to take in right at first. The backdrop of NON reality TV, a complete lack of privacy during filming and wicked gamesmanship, add to the frenzied excitement!

However, the story soon evolves into a focus on our main characters. It’s a quirky and funny journey as they get to know each other AND themselves! We should all get to hang out in a blanket tent bed and make a new friends! I enjoyed the growth of our “player”- a leading lady who is out and about with numerous women- as she not only stops playing with others' hearts, but completely redefines the game to suit a higher purpose. No! That all you get! You’ll have to listen to get the whole story! Sometimes I had to pay attention to keep the female characters straight (sort of 😉) but overall, the narration was enjoyable and brought the story to life!

Brought out the chemistry between the two main characters, both in and out if the bedroom. Hop on the bus, Gus, this is a fun ride!

Unique Backdrop for Romance

I really enjoyed the Reality show competition and how the main characters slowly came to know one another. The scene or chapter when they got together was one of the best I have ever read— I am looking forward to more from Nicole Pyland

Reality TV Romance ❤️

I have to admit I didn't know what to think about this one because I'm not a huge fan of reality TV, but it was by Nicole Pyland and she's becoming a fast favorite author of mine! I'm so glad I didn't sleep on this one!

In the beginning, I couldn't see how Dayton and Cali would get together - they couldn't be more different! But as they spent time together getting to know one another, you start to see the connection. The reality show really did make it fun and exciting. This was a really good story... Dayton is quite the romantic.

Totally recommend this one!!

Fun story

Loved the reality show as a backdrop to a budding friendship that turned into love. Fun characters and nice narrative.

Great story

I thought I would not like this book, as.I don’t like reality TV, but it was good, it gave an interesting glimpse into the reality show.
I didn’t care much for the narration, it was OK but not the best.

Mixed Feelings

I really liked the story line. The conversations had within were great. The narration was a bust. I think when there is that much dialogue in a book the narrator needs to be a little more clear on who is speaking. I really liked the characters.

Reality Check

Opposites attract, slow burn, but by no means tame. I enjoyed watching this couple grow into themselves and each other. Great Story!

A wonderful new storyline to a old twist on Happily ever after. A funny and adventurous story about how two people falling in love. Enjoy your time listening to a great voice octaves.

So good!

Completely enjoyed this story . It was challenging at first to see Day being the one for Cali but the story was well written and came together in the spirit of what actually connecting and getting to know someone on a different level can spark. Worth the time!

This was a fun story with delicious timing in the lines. Well worth ones time to listen to.
