Publisher's Summary

Maverick Smith is home in Knot Valley to reluctantly recuperate from an injury sustained in the line of duty on his ERU team in the city. The bomb that messed up his hand also took the life of his partner - which messes with his head on a daily basis. He's no good for anyone right now, but especially not the cute, pregnant omega next door.

Simon Bloom is just getting from one day to the next. He's not sure how he's going to manage being a single dad - but he loves his unborn baby more than anything. Well, Kraft Macaroni-and-Cheese runs a close second, but he's hoping that just a pregnancy craving that will go away once the baby is born.

When Mav comes across Simon needing help in the halls of their apartment building, he does what he can and then…just stays. They don't have much in common, but something about Simon makes him want to be a better man. Besides, what kind of friend would he be to let Simon face the rest of his dangerous pregnancy all alone?

He'd be a fool to act on the attraction. It would ruin the best friendship he's ever had. But if he doesn't admit how he feels, he'll never have a chance at the family he never knew he wanted and it will be all for…knot.

Welcome to Knot Valley, a sleepy small town in eastern Washington. All for Knot is the final in the series about super dominant alphas and quirky omegas finding love and creating families in an alternate universe where mpreg is possible. Some of the books are reimagined from a different series. If you like your MM steamy and endings happy, this hot series will get you right in the feels.

Lovely

Briton Frost creates a great series filled with short good feel stories. David Seager made Maverick and Simon jump from the pages. Whole series can be added to repeat listening list.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Solid End to a series

This was one of the better books in the series. I’m a sucker for single dads and for guys who take on other men’s children. And this story had both. Simon and Mav are a sweet couple and I loved the push and pull of their connection.

Mac & Cheese

I'm sad that this series is done! It was really cute and gave me a nice break from the darker romances that I read, almost like a palate cleanser. I will say that out of all of the books this is my second favorite! I love the macaroni and cheese cravings that Simon always had and how Maverick was so sweet to make it for him. Their friendship was immediate and I really like how protective Maverick was over Simon and his baby! The interaction at the hospital with the wife was weird, I guess I expected a bigger plot or a little more drama with it, but it ended up getting resolved rather quickly with no other mention of them throughout the story. Overall amazing series and books, I will listen to them again in the future!💫 I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

heartwarming

Would I listen to it again: maybe
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes
What did I like about the story? good pace, likeable characters and the story is entertaining.

Simon will admit Maverick "uses his boy powers to turn Simon's inside to mush and his legs to jelly", but Simon told himself he would be enough for his child when her bio-dad dumped him and his family didn't love them anymore. He has only himself to rely on and can't be hurt like that again. He can't allow himself to depend on Maverick like he'll always be there. If Maverick is to be part of their lives, it's friends ... with benefits ... and nothing more - right?

Narrator comment: I'm a bit on the fence with the narration. David Seager gave each character his own voice, there was plenty of emotions and the book was bought to life. I'm just not convinced the voice he gave Simon did the character justice.

wholesome with a happy ending

A wholesome will-they-won't-they story with a happy ending. Due to the length of the book the character depth is slightly lacking, but that's to be expected. The relationship was a little rushed, but overall made sense.
A little frustrating at times due to artificial issues, but generally the plot was fine.
The voices and reading were acceptable.
